Can I send a JPEG?

Yes. Send the highest-resolution original you have. Vector EPS, AI or PDF artwork is preferred when available; convert fonts to outlines in vector files. Check the upload control for its supported formats.

Can you help place my logo and words?

Upload your logo and put the exact wording and placement instructions in the order notes. The optional placement preview can help explain your layout. Standard custom orders still go through artwork review.

How do I specify a font?

Put the font’s exact name or a link to it in your order notes, together with the exact words you want. If you supply finished vector artwork, convert the text to outlines.

Can you print white artwork on a black pick?

White ink on black is available in the Single Colour options that offer those colours. Choose Black for the pick and White for the print colour, then check the choices for your exact product.

How large should my QR code be?

There is no reliable size for every code. The destination, code density, clear space, contrast and printed size all affect scanning. Include the destination link and size you want in your notes for artwork review. An on-screen preview cannot guarantee scanning.

How do proofs and requested changes work?

Standard custom picks follow artwork review and an emailed production proof before printing. Check the proof and reply with any requested changes before approving it. The special no-proof 10-pack prints as submitted and has no proof or revisions.

  • Glow in the dark picks are made from high quality celluloid material and have great flex and durability. Celluloid is a traditional pick material, these plectrums grip well to your hands and sound fantastic on the strings. These picks are only available in the off white (pale yellow/green) glow in the dark colour. They glow bright green in the dark.

    We can print logos, text and line drawings onto our glow in the dark picks. We highly recommend only printing solid black artwork onto these picks as this produces the best results. Also, if you don't cover the whole face of the pick with artwork, the better the picks will glow. Please note: We can only print onto one side of your glow in the dark picks as they are slightly transparent. This listing is for single sided printing, the back of these picks will not be printed.

    Your original artwork stays attached for the usual artwork review and proof process before printing. The optional placement preview helps show your preferred position.

    Production: 5–7 business days after artwork approval. Produced in-house in Oshawa, Ontario. Shipping time is additional.

  • Art specs:

    Our favourite artwork format to use for glow in the dark picks is .eps, .pdf or .ai vector artwork. When supplying vector files please make sure all fonts are converted to outlines.

    If you don’t have your art in that format, then we also accept .jpg or .psd files. Please make sure your files are high resolution (300dpi) and at least 10cm square.

    It’s best if you provide your artwork in black and white, with no gradients. We highly recommend only printing black artwork onto our glow in the dark picks.

    Please note: Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents are NOT acceptable.

    The maximum file size for your artwork is 15MB. If uploading large art files please be patient after clicking 'add to cart' and do not navigate away from the page until your order has been successfully added to the cart page.

    If you would like to add text on your picks, but do not have graphic software to do so, please choose a font from this website: www.dafont.com and let us know what you'd like written in the 'Extra Order Details' text box when ordering.

    If you're unsure, simply upload what you have and we will be in contact if needed. We have processed thousands of orders over the years so we have a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn’t. We will send you a digital preview of your design before we print to make sure you’re 100% happy.
